Singles Travel International is a vacation event company that plans singles events and markets our events at our expense to create a “singles only” experience. We do not allow guests to join the group unless the reservation has been made by Singles Travel International. Our policy is firm for tours and cruises, as well as pre and post trip hotel stays. Members and friends that “show up” will not be allowed to participate.

Of course. But we have already included a 2 Night Package in Nice and 2 Night Package in Paris in addition to 7 nights on the cruise so that you have enough time to get all the highlights into your vacation. If you’d like more time, just let us know and we’ll book your extra nights at our carefully vetted hotel properties so you don’t have to worry about a thing!

Airport transfers are INCLUDED with our cruise/tour in both Nice & Paris.

Watch for our “Get Ready” email series that begins 110 days prior to departure to provide your flight details using our Fit & Willing to Travel form. Once that is complete, we’ll be able to reserve your complimentary  transportation.

Please help us serve you best by completing the Fit & Willing form early.

In order to accommodate singles from all over the world, our tours and cruises are priced as land/cruise only. Therefore, airfare is additional. Singles Travel International is a licensed ticketing agency and oftentimes has low negotiated fares.

Please contact your preferred carrier directly to make your reservation. From the moment you arrive at our pre Cruise hotel, our Singles Travel International Concierge is waiting to meet you at our Hospitality Desk or Welcome Event. We dine together each evening in an open seating arrangement so that you have a chance to meet as many people as possible.

You’ll receive automatic reminders via email and text for each event.  Be sure you opt in for all communications so that you don’t miss out on anything! Paris averages highs of 12°C (54°F) and lows of 5°C (41°F), feeling crisp with possible light showers on 30-40% of days.
Sunshine totals around 7 hours daily amid partly cloudy skies.
Pack layers for evenings dipping near 3-5°C and occasional wind.

There is no baggage limit on the cruise ship. Currently, most international airlines will allow you to check one bag, weighing 50 pounds, for free. In addition you may carry-on one bag plus a personal item such as a purse or briefcase. Please check with your air carrier for up-to-the minute regulations and fees for checked baggage.

Layers will be key for this program. Bring along casual and comfortable warmer clothing. We recommend that you mix and match using 1-3 colors. Comfortable walking shoes are a must. Our cruise will stop in some of the most charming little towns, and, once we dock, we’re off for adventure. Walking is the best way to see it all, and we’ll also have opportunities to bike ride along the way. Note that dress code aboard a river cruise is very casual, and some days you may have dinner in the same outfit you wore during day when the schedule is full.

Packing Tips: Take only what you need; don’t over pack. A river cruise is casual. Save room for souvenirs and purchases. Pack flat and full to avoid wrinkling. Bring wardrobe basics; mix and match around two or three colors. Don’t pack anything valuable, fragile or perishable. Label your luggage with an outside tag, and place an identification card inside each suitcase.

Essential Items for a River Cruise: We highly recommend that you bring the following items.

For this spring itinerary, think light layers and casual comfort for walking tours and relaxed river evenings.

  • 3–4 long‑sleeve tops (mix of lighter and slightly warmer).

  • 2 light sweaters or fleece/cardigans.

  • 1–2 nicer casual tops for evenings (still relaxed, not formal).

  • 2–3 pairs of casual pants/jeans or travel trousers in a 1–3‑color palette so everything mixes and matches.

  • Optional: 1 casual dress or skirt with tights if you like to dress up a bit for Paris or onboard.

  • 1 medium‑weight waterproof or water‑resistant jacket with hood.

  • Optional: 1 light packable vest if you tend to feel cold in the mornings/evenings.

  • 1 pair very comfortable walking shoes with good grip (your main sightseeing shoe).

  • 1 additional pair of shoes (sneakers or comfortable ankle boots) that can also work for casual dinners.

  • 1 bike‑friendly outfit (leggings, capris, or stretch pants) if you plan to join cycling.

  • Light scarf, sunglasses, and optional thin hat and gloves for cooler mornings or evenings on deck.

Dress code on this river cruise is very casual, and on busy days you may wear the same neat, comfortable outfit from day through dinner, so focus on pieces that layer well, feel good, and are easy to rewear.

No other inoculations are required for travel to Europe. The CDC (Centers for Disease Control) recommends updating all routine booster shots for travel almost anywhere. Please schedule a physical check-up, before your trip, to discuss the type of trip in which you are participating with your physician.

You and your physician may access much more, very detailed health information for travelers (including tips on staying healthy while traveling) on the CDC website. Click their “Traveler’s Health” link or call toll-free 24-hours at 1-800-CDC-INFO (800-232-4636).

The currency used throughout the cruise is the Euro (in port) and US Dollar (onboard). Exchange rates fluctuate often. You may find the current exchange rates in the financial sections of newspapers and on the Internet. You may also find a number of websites by typing “foreign exchange rates” in your search engine. Two specific websites are: xe.com and Money.com.

Currency Exchange: Many locations will accept major credit cards, but for incidentals and small vendors you will need some local currency. ATM machines will dispense local currency for internationally accepted ATM cards and/or credit cards. They are usually conveniently located in large cities, but are limited in smaller towns and rural areas. You may exchange cash and traveler’s checks for local currencies at hotels, banks and exchange bureaus. Banks no longer make change in many European countries.

Credit Cards: Your credit card will be accepted to settle your incidentals bill at all hotels and in major shops, restaurants and aboard the Poetry II.

Travel insurance is not required for entry into France by U.S. citizens for short-term visits (less than 90 days). However, it is highly recommended since U.S. health insurance generally does not cover medical care abroad, and travel insurance provides important protection for medical emergencies including evacuation.
In addition to direct access immediately upon completing your purchase, you will receive a quote from Travel Guard regarding travel insurance after reserving your vacation.
When selecting a travel insurance policy, we recommend that at a minimum you are covered for medical expenses including emergency evacuation and repatriation. We also strongly recommend that the policy cover personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects.

If you have any questions, Travel Guard professional, expert agents are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call us, if you have not received your quote within 3 days, or CLICK HERE to go directly to Travel Guard and request a policy quote. It only takes a few minutes.

Questions and comments after you have reserved your vacation are addressed promptly when you send a message to us at service@singlestravelintl.com.

Your “Final Vacation Details & Meetup Information” including transportation and how to meet up with the group will be available on the YOUR TRAVEL DOCUMENTS button on the left navigation bar on the trip site 21 days prior to trip start date.

The Poetry II has free unlimited Wi-Fi. You may also telephone, telex, radiogram or fax to anywhere in the world and be billed at applicable ship-to-shore rates. Guests may also be contacted onboard our ship via satellite in an emergency, but we recommend that you arrange to make and receive calls, send and receive text messages and read emails on your own cell phones and mobile devices. Check with your phone carrier for rates.

Questions and comments after you have reserved your vacation are addressed promptly when you send a message to us at service@singlestravelintl.com.

Our office is open Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. In an emergency after hours, please contact Tammy Weiler at 815-715-6998.

All countries you visit have laws restricting the purchase and export of certain items, including antiquities, national cultural property, and products made from protected or endangered species (such as ivory, rhino horn, tortoise shell, certain corals, and some feathers). The United States also prohibits or restricts the import of many of these same items, and travelers may face confiscation, fines, or other penalties for attempting to export or import prohibited goods.

Upon return to the United States, your baggage is subject to inspection by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Duty‑free exemptions, including the value of goods you may bring back and the permitted quantities of alcohol and tobacco, are subject to change and may vary based on your travel itinerary and personal circumstances. If you plan to purchase souvenirs or high‑value items, retain all purchase receipts; however, CBP may question receipts that appear inconsistent with the apparent value of the goods.

For the most up‑to‑date information on regulations, restricted items, and duty‑free allowances, consult the official U.S. Customs and Border Protection website before you travel. Click here to learn more.

If the flights are eligible, to ensure you earn frequent flyer credit from the airline, give your frequent flyer account number when you check in for your flights. In addition, save your boarding passes and the passenger receipt from your airline ticket. Expect mild early spring weather across these French destinations in late March, with highs around 12-16°C (54-61°F) and lows of 6-10°C (43-50°F), though forecasts this far ahead rely on historical averages as long-term predictions are unavailable. This is excellent weather for touring comfortably.

Nice (March 21-24)

Late March in Nice features highs near 14°C (57°F) and lows around 9°C (48°F), with partly cloudy to sunny skies and a chance of patchy rain on about 20% of days.
Expect 6-7 hours of sunshine daily and moderate breezes from the Mediterranean.
Rainfall is possible but typically light, totaling under 10mm over the period based on averages.

Arles to Lyon (March 24-30)

Along the Rhone route, anticipate highs of 14-16°C (57-61°F) and lows of 6-9°C (43-48°F), cooler inland than coastal Nice.
Arles sees about 55mm monthly rain across 10 days, with partly cloudy conditions and 7 hours of sun.
Lyon is similar but slightly fresher, with 19% rain chance daily and variable clouds during this transitional spring week.

Paris (March 30-April 1)

Group travel with Singles Travel International is active in nature and may involve walking tours, transfers, changes in elevation, and standing for periods of time. Singles Travel International staff are not personal caregivers and cannot provide continuous physical assistance. To help protect your safety and that of the group, you are requested to  understand and agree to the following.

Some activities and excursions on this tour require a moderate level of physical fitness, including the ability to climb stairs without assistance and to walk between 1 mile (approximately 2,500 steps) and 4 miles (approximately 10,000 steps) per day without needing to rest frequently.

Travelers must be generally mobile and able to manage their own luggage, embark and disembark vehicles or vessels using standard steps, and navigate uneven surfaces (such as cobblestones, inclines, or curbs) at a reasonable pace without assistance from Singles Travel International staff or fellow travelers.

You’ll be asked to confirm that you understand the risks and that you do not have any medical, mobility, or other conditions that would make it unsafe for you to participate in the itinerary as described, or that would reasonably be expected to require special personal assistance that Singles Travel International does not provide.

Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Statement

Singles Travel International, headquartered in the State of Florida, is committed to providing equal access to its services in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable state and local laws. Singles Travel International will make reasonable efforts to provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities so they can participate in its travel programs, when such accommodations are requested in advance and do not fundamentally alter the nature of the services or create an undue burden. Members are encouraged to advise Singles Travel International of any disability-related needs or accommodation requests at the time of inquiry or booking so the company can evaluate options, work with suppliers where possible, and communicate clearly about any limitations inherent to the itinerary, destination infrastructure, or third-party services.

In situations where a participant’s current physical condition or behavior poses a significant risk of substantial harm to the participant or others that cannot be eliminated or reduced by reasonable accommodation (a “direct threat” under the ADA), Singles Travel International and its Tour Concierge or other representatives may, in their reasonable judgment, restrict or modify that participant’s involvement in specific activities to address the safety concern. Any such decisions will be made on an individualized basis, using current information and considering possible reasonable accommodations.

March 21, 2027 – Arrive at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport (NCE) no later than 4:00 pm, in order to be able to participate in the singles-only meet and greet and optional dinner! Your Singles Travel International Concierge will be waiting for you at the hotel.
April 1, 2027 – Schedule your return flight on April 1, 2027, at any time in order to be eligible for a transfer from the hotel to the Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG).

Please contact your preferred carrier directly to make your reservation. If Singles Travel International issues a promotional economy fare, granting of frequent flyer credit is entirely at the airline’s discretion. If the flights are eligible, to ensure you earn frequent flyer credit from the airline, give your frequent flyer account number when you check in for your flights. In addition, save your boarding passes and the passenger receipt from your airline ticket. You may need to submit these to the airline (not to Singles Travel International) to claim any credit allowed.

Our tour does not include your airfare, meals not included in the itinerary, alcoholic beverages (except when included in Singles Travel International events and wine/beer during lunch, dinner and happy hour on the Poetry II), incidentals such as laundry and phone calls, plus gratuities to your Singles Travel International Concierge ($15 per day).

Of course not. You will be pleased to find out that nearly 90% of our guests on every cruise sign up and have never met anyone before joining the group. Since 1993, we have been perfecting the singles vacation experience. It is paramount that our guests meet each other right away and have opportunities to mingle every day.

From the moment you arrive at our pre Cruise hotel, our Singles Travel International Concierge is waiting to meet you at our Hospitality Desk or Welcome Event. Our first evening begins with a meet and greet and orientation.  We plan daily activities both onboard the ship as well as in each port. We dine together each evening in an open seating arrangement so that you have a chance to meet as many people as possible.

Our program for 50+ singles also includes an invitation to a private WhatsApp Group Chat where you may start meeting your fellow travelers and make new friends immediately.  In addition, we host a virtual Meet & Greet with your travel companions before you depart. You’ll receive automatic reminders via email and text for each event.  Be sure you opt in for all communications so that you don’t miss out on anything! Text YES to us at 833-479-1857 if you are not yet receiving our text message reminders.

Our affordable Premium Memberships allows solo travelers the ability to have Your Own Space™ for a lot less so that you never have to share. Review the special Premium Member Savings by clicking the ⓘ next to the “Add to Cart” button when searching your options on each trip page. You may join at the same time that you purchase your vacation or click here to learn more and purchase your membership.

Roommate matches are available by request if you already have a traveling companion. Contact us at 877-SOLO-TRIP to speak with one of our teammates to make your reservation.

Our vacations cater to singles in their 50s, 60s and 70s but you will often meet singles ranging anywhere from 50-75. We generally have a ratio of 60/40, women to men. As a travel club, matchmaking is not our focus. We offer an opportunity for single travelers to see the world in the company of other singles and do not guarantee ratios or ages.

We recommend that you meet the members of the Singles Travel International Community on the private WhatsApp Group Chat once you receive the invite from the Get Ready email after you make your reservation. This is the best way to find out exactly who will be on your vacation and to start making new friends.

Knowing who’s on the trip in advance makes socializing before and during your vacation easier and more fun.

However, each traveler is ultimately responsible for their own health and well-being when deciding to travel. We strongly encourage all members to review the latest travel advisories from the US State Department, CDC, World Health Organization (WHO) and airlines to make informed decisions about travel safety.

By booking a trip with us, you agree to sign a Fit & Willing to Travel Commitment, Participant Conduct, and Waiver as part of your registration. This commitment confirms your agreement to comply with all applicable local laws and follow the instructions of our tour leaders concerning health, safety measures and appropriate behaviors to ensure a respectful and secure environment for all travelers.
