Singles Travel International is a vacation event company that plans singles events and markets our events at our expense to create a “singles only” experience. We do not allow guests to join the group unless the reservation has been made by STI. Our policy is firm for tours and cruises, as well as pre and post trip hotel stays. Members and friends that “show up” will not be allowed to participate.
We’ve already included all of your transportation in Tahiti. We’ll pick you up at the airport and drop you off at the end of the cruise!
We have included roundtrip airfare between Los Angeles (LAX) and Papeete (PPT) only. If you prefer to do your own airfare, we’ll deduct $1,100 from your package price. Please bring this to our attention by adding your intention to the Order Notes field when you check out. Air preferences may not be changed after October 8, 2025 once ticketed.
TN 7 5 Feb LAX/PPT 4:20P/10:35P
TN 102 18 Feb PPT/LAX 11:59P/9:50A +1 (Feb 19)
Airfare to and from Los Angeles from your home airport is additional. Book according to the recommendations below.
February 5, 2026: Schedule your flight to arrive in Los Angeles before 12:00 p.m.
February 19, 2026: Schedule your flight to depart after 1:00 p.m. from Los Angeles (included return flight from Papeete is currently scheduled to arrive in LAX at 9:45 AM on February 19).
Note: Our return flight from Papeete is currently scheduled to depart at 11:59 PM (subject to change) on February 18 and arrives in Los Angeles at 9:45 AM on February 19, so the actual length of the trip is 13 nights/14 days (last night on airplane).
Please contact your preferred carrier directly to make your reservation to LAX. If Singles Travel International issues a promotional economy fare, granting of frequent flyer credit is entirely at the airline’s discretion. If the flights are eligible, to ensure you earn frequent flyer credit from the airline, give your frequent flyer account number when you check in for your flights. In addition, save your boarding passes and the passenger receipt from your airline ticket. You may need to submit these to the airline (not to Singles Travel International) to claim any credit allowed.
You are responsible for shore tours, shopping and gratuities to Singles Travel International Concierge ($15 per day). Cabin incidentals such as laundry, phone calls and internet access are also at an additional cost and all items will appear on your final billing statement at the end of the cruise.
Of course. We have already included a 2 Night Pre Cruise Package for all members including all airport-hotel-ship transportation. If you need other arrangements, please call us. We’d be happy to assist with your vacation plans.

Of course not. You will be pleased to find out that nearly 90% of our guests on every cruise sign up and have never met anyone before joining the group. In 33 years, we have perfected the singles cruise experience. It is paramount that our guests meet each other right away and have opportunities to mingle every day. From the moment you board the ship, our STI Concierge is waiting to meet you at our Welcome Aboard Get Together. Our first evening begins with a private welcome-aboard cocktail party followed by daily activities both onboard the ship as well as in each port. We dine together each evening in an open seating arrangement so that you have a chance to meet as many people as possible.
Our affordable Premium Memberships allows solo travelers the ability to have Your Own Space™️ for a lot less so that you never have to share. Review the special Premium Member rates on the Book Now page. You may join at the same time that you purchase your vacation or click here to learn more and purchase your membership.
Roommate matches are available by request if you already have a traveling companion. Contact us at 877-SOLO-TRIP to speak with one our teammates to make your reservation.
Embarkation begins at 3:00 PM on February 7, 2026. Our transportation from the hotel to the ship is included in our package. We will arrive early in order to take advantage of getting to know the ship!
Our “Baby Boomer” vacations cater to singles in their 50s and 60s but you will often meet singles ranging anywhere from 45-75. We generally have a ratio of 60/40, women to men. As a travel club, matchmaking is not our focus. Ages listed on our page are not restricted. They are simply used as a guideline. We offer an opportunity for single travelers to see the world in the company of other singles and do not guarantee ratios or ages.
We recommend that you meet the members of the Singles Travel International Community online where you may view and interact with members via “Who’s Going” on every trip page. This is the best way to find out exactly who will be on your vacation.
Yes! Singles Travel International is the only singles vacation company that features a travel community where members may send messages to one another at any time. Once you make a reservation, you are invited to post messages on the trip chat, which is great for finding out more about your fellow travel companions, coordinating taxi shares, setting up tours and more. Your trip chat is accessible from the trip page. Ask your Singles Travel International Reservation Guide for assistance.
Our program for singles also includes live online events and virtual tours plus a virtual Meet & Greet with your travel companions before you depart.
Long-standing partnerships in every island ensure that our discovery is led by the most experienced and knowledgeable experts. Click here to explore your options either by port of call or type of activity so you’re ready when they become available. Shore excursions are available to reserve approximately 60 days prior to sailing; diving tours must be booked on board. Guests may reserve their excursions by calling Paul Gauguin Reservations Department at 1 (800) 848-6172. Your Singles Travel International team will help you prepare with a reminder sent once excursions become available. Watch your inbox for our “Get Ready” email series after final payment.
Yes, there are hairdryers in the rooms at the The InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa and in each cabin aboard the Paul Gauguin.
The standard electrical voltage aboard ship and in Tahiti is 220 volts. Both 220-volt and 110-volt outlets are available in bathrooms and staterooms. We recommend bringing along a power strip so that you both may recharge phones, cameras and add additional items such as a curling iron.
Singles Travel International hosts the Breakfast Club™ each morning Le Grill where a sumptuous buffet awaits! A seated dinner is served in either La Veranda or L’Etoile, reserved by your Singles Travel International Concierge once onboard and to be advised to our members each day via our weekly program and What’s App group chat.
We do our best to reserve dinner at approximately 7:00 p.m. each night for the entire group for dinner. If you desire to dine earlier, please let your Concierge know at the Welcome Aboard meeting in Papeete. Note that on most cruises, the majority of our guests choose late the 7 – 8 p.m. seating and by selecting an earlier time, you may be dining with a smaller group of our guests or perhaps none at all. All dining requests are confirmed once onboard, not in advance and are at the discretion of the cruise line.
The weather in Tahiti, the Society & Cook Islands is Paradise year round! Expect temperatures in the low 70s to mid 80s. Showers are always possible but typically only last 15-30 minutes before it clears up again. A light jacket will be necessary in the evenings, as it may get a little chilly.
There is no baggage limit onboard ship. Aboard Air Tahiti Nui, abide by the following requirements for Economy (Moana) Class.
Carry-on baggage:
- All passengers are allowed one carry-on bag plus a personal item.
- The carry-on bag must fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat.
- Carry-on bags cannot exceed 10 kg (22 lbs) and a total measure of 115 cm (45 in).
Checked baggage:
One (1) suitcase up to 23 kg (50 lbs) is allowed per passenger.
Premium Economy (Moana Premium) & Business Class (Poerava) passengers are allowed 2 suitcases up to 23 kg (50 & 70 lbs respectively). Contact us for an upgrade quote.
Please check with your air carrier for up-to-the minute regulations and fees for checked baggage on your flights between home and LAX.
Country Club Casual, or elegant resort wear, is appropriate dress for all evenings aboard The MS Paul Gauguin. Country Club Casual consists of a dress, or skirt or slacks with a blouse or sweater for ladies, and slacks and collared shirts for gentleman. No ties are required at any time, although gentlemen may opt to wear a jacket to the Captain’s Welcome Reception.
Please note that casual wear such as shorts, t-shirts, casual jeans (frayed and/or with holes), baseball caps, flip-flops, and Crocs are not considered appropriate after 6:00 p.m. in all restaurants and lounges. Bathrobes and bathing suits are not appropriate in the ship’s restaurants and lounges, and shirts and shoes are required in all public areas at all times.
If you want to dress up and add a little glamour when you dine out, go for it. Singles Travel International members generally add a little class to any venue! Daytime wear is casual and comfortable for touring/shopping.
*Guests should be aware that shoes suitable for wearing in the water, whether this be reef shoes, sneakers, or old sandals, are imperative to the enjoyment and safety of participating in water-based activities. There are corals, urchins, and other marine life that can cause painful cuts and injuries that can be prevented by wearing appropriate footwear while in boats and in the water. Inexpensive plastic sandals are available in Tahiti, but few shops are open on Saturday afternoons in Papeete where they are available. The next opportunity is not until the ship reaches Bora Bora. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that you bring the appropriate shoes from home for this purpose. Note that flip-flops are not suitable for this function.
Evenings aboard the ship are sometimes cool due to the air conditioning, so a cover-up is essential if you tend to get cold easily.
Packing Tips: Take only what you need; don’t over pack. Save room for souvenirs and purchases. Pack flat and full to avoid wrinkling. Bring wardrobe basics; mix and match around one or two colors. Don’t pack anything valuable, fragile or perishable. Label your luggage with an outside tag, and place an identification card inside each suitcase.
