PASSPORT MANDATORY A passport is required for US citizens. Be sure to confirm that your passport is current and will be valid at least six months after your return date. If you do not have one or need a new one, contact the State Department Passport Office in your area immediately, or visit their website.

Visa: US Citizens are required to obtain a Visa prior to entering Australia. You can do so easily online for approximately $100 USD. Click here for more information. Please make sure you allow yourself plenty of time to receive the visa!

Non US Citizens are responsible for verifying their own required documentation for this tour.

FLIGHT & PASSPORT INFO Two months prior to your vacation, you’ll receive an email with a link to upload your flight and passport information. This is important for us to be able to schedule your arrival and departure transfers.

INSURANCE Although travel insurance isn’t mandatory, we highly recommend it. In addition to direct access immediately upon completing your purchase, you will receive a quote from Travel Guard regarding travel insurance after reserving your vacation. (Please see FAQ on Travel Insurance.)

A valid passport is required for travel to Australia & New Zealand. Be sure to confirm that your passport is current and will be valid at least six months after your return date. US Citizens are required to obtain a Visa prior to entering Australia & New Zealand, even when arriving by cruise ship. Singles Travel International has NOT included the visa cost in your tour package.

Australia: 
You must download the Australian ETA App on your phone and apply for your visa via the app. Click here for a step-by-step guide as well as “How To” videos to assist you with the application.
Cost: There is a service charge of AUD20 ($13 USD) to use the Australian ETA app. There is no other charge payable for an ETA.
Processing times: In most cases you will be notified of the result of your ETA application immediately. Your application may take longer if you do not complete the application process correctly or we require further information. We recommend that you apply well ahead of when you want to travel.

New Zealand:

We recommend that you also make copies of your passport, visa, driver’s license, photo identification card and/or birth certificate in case of loss, and carry them with you on your trip separate from your original documents.

From 12:01 am on Saturday 11 March, 2023, people traveling to Australia will not be required to show evidence of a negative pre-departure test for COVID-19. Also, it is no longer required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination to travel to and from Australia.

Some countries, airlines and vessel operators may require a pre-departure test result at check-in before you can board your flight or ship. Check the entry requirements of your airline or cruise ship.

Celebrity requires that all passengers be vaccinated to board the vessel. Please plan to carry your vaccination documentation with you at all times while in port should local authorities or businesses request it to help facilitate entry and/or experiences. Other requirements, such as negative COVID-19 tests before and during the cruise, may be required.  Your knowledgeable team at Singles Travel International will keep you up to date with plenty of time to prepare.

The CDC (Centers for Disease Control) recommends updating all routine booster shots for travel almost anywhere. Please schedule a physical check-up, before your trip, to discuss the type of trip in which you are participating with your physician.

You and your physician may access much more, very detailed health information for travelers (including tips on staying healthy while traveling) on the CDC website. Click their “Traveler’s Health” link or call toll-free 24-hours at 1-800-CDC-INFO (800-232-4636).

A deposit is due at time of reservation, and final payment is due on August 21, 2024.

If you make a reservation after August 21, 2024, full payment will be automatically charged at time of reservation and penalties will apply.

Contact our team at service@singlestravelintl.com and request the Pay-By-Check discount. Your final payment balance will be recalculated deducting the Pay-By-Check discount. Then be sure to mail your check with the revised balance total to our office so that it arrives by August 21, 2024 in order to secure your reservation and price.  Late payments will not be accepted.

Zelle® 
Contact our team at service@singlestravelintl.com and request the Zelle® discount. Your final payment balance will be recalculated deducting the Zelle® discount. Then be sure to send your payment with the revised balance total to EZPay@singlestravelintl.com so that it arrives by August 21, 2024 in order to secure your reservation and price.  Late payments will not be accepted. Should you pay via credit card, the discounted rate is no longer valid, and members will be charged the original non-discounted price.

Yes, All cancellations must be made in writing to Singles Travel International at service@singlestravelintl.com and are subject to per person penalties as follows:

After deposit and at any time of cancellation, refunds may be requested less a minimum charge of $250 in addition to other penalties listed below.

*Between August 22 and October 5, 2024 – a 25% penalty will be incurred.

*Between October 6 and October 19, 2024 – a 50% penalty will be incurred.

* From October 20 to November 18, 2024 – a 75% penalty will be incurred.

* From November 19, 2024, up to the day of cruising, any cancellations or “no-shows” – 100% penalty.

Cancellations made prior to August 21, 2024, final payment may request a Future Trip Credit and the $250 minimum cancellation fee will be waived. The Future Trip Credit may be used toward any future Singles Travel International vacation within 1 year of cancellation, for travel at any time. No refunds will be given on any unused portions of the trip.

Singles Travel International includes a fun-filled night in a Sydney hotel (December 19-20, 2024), which allows our members to get a head start on socializing and ensures that you won’t miss the boat!

Singles Travel International is a vacation event company that plans singles events and markets our events at our expense to create a “singles only” experience. If Singles Travel International issues a promotional economy fare, granting of frequent flyer credit is entirely at the airline’s discretion. If the flights are eligible, to ensure you earn frequent flyer credit from the airline, give your frequent flyer account number when you check in for your flights. In addition, save your boarding passes and the passenger receipt from your airline ticket. You may need to submit these to the airline (not to Singles Travel International) to claim any credit allowed.

All meals are served either buffet style in a restaurant located on an open deck such as the pool deck or full service in the main dining room at set times referred to as early and late (or first and second) seating. Singles Travel International hosts the Breakfast Club each morning in one of the 2 locations, which are determined via your Singles Travel International Concierge once onboard and advised to you each day via our weekly program.

We reserve late (second) seating for the entire group for dinner. Late (second) dining is generally served at 8:00 p.m. and varies by cruise line. If you desire to dine at early (first) seating, please let our reservation specialist know at the time of booking. Note that on most cruises, the majority of our guests choose late (second) seating and by selecting early (first) seating, you may be dining with a smaller group of our guests or perhaps none at all. All dining requests are confirmed once onboard, not in advance and are at the discretion of the cruise line.

In addition, there are generally several a la carte and themed restaurants with and without a fee. Singles Travel International reserves tables of 8 for every night. You may sign up for those options and, therefore, enjoy these restaurants in the company of other singles once onboard the ship.

Yes, there are hairdryers in each cabin. Electrical current is 110, which is the US standard. If sharing a cabin, we recommend bringing along a power strip so that you both may recharge phones, cameras and add additional items such as a curling iron.

There is no baggage limit onboard ship.

Currently, most international airlines will allow you to check up to two bags weighing up to 50 pounds for an additional price. In addition you may carry-on one bag plus a personal item such as a purse or briefcase. Please check with your air carrier for up-to-the-minute regulations and fees for checked baggage.

Cruising aboard Celebrity is not too dressy, not too casual. We call it “resort casual”; you’ll call it being on holiday. When you’re ready for dinner, it’s collared shirts and pants or nice jeans for men. Slacks or jeans, dresses, skirts and tops are perfect for women. If you want to dress up and add a little glamour when you dine out, go for it. Singles Travel International members generally add a little class to any venue!

Swimwear, T-shirts and shorts are not allowed in the restaurants after 5:30 pm. An exception will be made with respect to shorts in the buffet and outdoor restaurants. Presentable jeans may be worn in restaurants in the evenings with the exception of a designated “dress up” restaurant. Daytime wear is casual and comfortable for touring/ shopping/ swimming.

Evenings aboard the ship are sometimes cool due to the air conditioning, so a coverup is essential if you tend to get cold easily.

Packing Tips: Take only what you need; don’t over pack. Save room for souvenirs and purchases. Pack flat and full to avoid wrinkling. Bring wardrobe basics; mix and match around one or two colors. Don’t pack anything valuable, fragile or perishable. Label your luggage with an outside tag, and place an identification card inside each suitcase.

Essential Items: We highly recommend that you bring the following items.

– A happy-go-lucky attitude
– A good, comfortable pair of broken-in walking shoes.
– A pair of shoes for restaurants (loafers, sandals, etc).
– Slacks, shorts and tops and keep dressing in layers in mind
– Collapsible umbrella (which can double as a sunshade parasol) and/or lightweight raingear.
– Ladies will want to bring a nicer warm wrap, and gentlemen a nicer jacket, for evening wear.
– Sunglasses, sun block, sun hat or visor.
– Toiletries: all your daily essentials.
– Prescription medications: sufficient supply for the entire trip plus legible written prescription in case of loss. Keep medications in their original, labeled container. Always pack your medications in your carry-on bag!
– Eyeglasses, contacts, contact lens solution. You may want to bring along a written prescription for your eyewear in case of loss.
– Over the counter medications: cold remedy, aspirin/pain reliever, antacid/stomach upset remedy, Band-Aids, money or other anti-bacterial medication.
– Travel alarm clock with illuminated face, especially for guests in an inside cabin.
– Travel journal/notepad and reading material.
– Small, basic sewing kit with a few extra buttons. Remember to pack scissors in your checked bag!
– Photography Equipment
– Power strip to charge more than one item at a time. Only 1 US outlet in your cabin.
– Alternate outlet on the ship and in our hotel in Sydney is different than our US outlets, so bring an adapter/converter.

When selecting a travel insurance policy, we recommend that at a minimum you are covered for medical expenses including emergency evacuation and repatriation. We also strongly recommend that the policy cover personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects.

The Australian dollar (AUD$) is the official currency of Australia and of several countries and territories, including Christmas Island, Cocos Islands, Norfolk Island, Nauru, Tuvalu and Kiribati.

New Zealand’s unit of currency is the New Zealand dollar (NZ$). All major credit cards can be used in Australia and New Zealand, with Visa and MasterCard accepted most widely.

Onboard the ship, your credit card will be accepted to settle your bill onboard the ship, as well as in major shops and restaurants ashore. All onboard purchases are billed with a guest check and added to your personal shipboard account. At the end of the cruise, you will receive a total bill, which can be paid with cash or charged to a credit card. If you are sharing with another guest, no worries. You will each receive a separate statement which may be reviewed at any time on your interactive TV in the cabin.

Some credit card companies may charge small international transaction fees, so it’s best to check with your provider before leaving home.

All countries you will visit have laws against the purchase and export of certain items, including antiquities, national cultural property and certain animal products, especially endangered species (ivory, rhino horn, tortoise shell, coral, feathers, etc.). Additionally, the United States has laws prohibiting the import of certain items, which include many of the same things. You face having your purchase confiscated and/or heavy fines for exporting or importing prohibited items.

On return to the U.S., your baggage is subject to search by U.S. Customs. Currently, you are permitted to bring back $800 of goods duty free. Persons aged 21 or over may also bring in one liter of liquor and one carton of cigarettes. If you plan to purchase a lot of souvenirs or expensive items, it is important to retain all purchase receipts. However, please note that U.S. Customs may not accept a receipt as true cost if it seems unusually low for the estimated value of the item.
