Istanbul, Turkey: Your included private transfer awaits to whisk you away in comfort to our luxurious hotel in the heart of the city, Sultanahmet. Bozcaada (Troy), Turkey – 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Delight in this breezy Aegean gem, a beach-blessed island also known for producing some of Turkey’s best wines. You’ll notice the ambiance gracefully blends Greek and Turkish sensibilities, evident in the clusters of whitewashed buildings from which the occasional minaret bursts forth. Browse enticing souvenirs crafted by local artisans, perhaps picking up a jar of the island’s delicious tomato marmalade. Beside the cozy harbor, you’ll discover the town’s imposing 15th-century castle, which is among the country’s best preserved. From the crenellated ramparts, look across the crystalline sea and picture Achilles’ arrival to this very spot during the legendary Trojan War.

Mitilini (Lesbos), Greece – 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Explore this bustling city’s ancient roots, and visit the huge castle perched on the hill – the beautiful Greek theater that the Romans repaired and then copied back in Rome! See the impressive Cathedral and the Church of St. Nicholas, converted from a mosque. Enjoy the Archaeological Museum or one of the fine art museums with collections of important works. Venture into the old quarter near the waterfront to enjoy the old Turkish mansions or into the countryside and discover quaint villages where time has stopped.

 

Izmir, Turkey – 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Dive into the surf or soak up the sun on any number of Izmir’s magnificent beaches. Visit the lavish Izmir Clock Tower as you stroll through the celebrated Konak Square. Soak up the local scenery as you meander along the relaxing Kordonboyu oceanfront promenade.

Chios, Greece – 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Dotted with splashes of wild tulips and iconic mastic trees, the Aegean island of Chios is a beauty known for its black volcanic beaches. History buffs will enjoy the collection of rare murals and wooden carvings in the Chios Byzantine Museum, which is housed in an Ottoman mosque.

Kos, Greece – 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Kick back on the beaches of Kefalos or soak in the thermal waters of Thermae Beach. Follow in the footsteps of Hippocrates at the Asklepieion or walk along the streets lined with whitewashed buildings, where you will find excavations of ruins showcasing the island’s Roman, Greek, Italian and Ottoman past.

Santorini, Greece – 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Visit the beautiful whitewashed hilltop towns of Oia and Fira and their breathtaking views of the caldera below. See the stunning artifacts in Fira’s museum, including recent finds from the excavation of Akrotiri, thought by many to be the legendary city of Atlantis, or visit a winery. Stroll through the winding streets with fantastic views around every corner.

Athens (Piraeus), Greece – 8:00 a.m.

Yes, All cancellations must be made in writing to Singles Travel International at service@singlestravelintl.com and are subject to per person penalties as follows:

  • After deposit, a $500 penalty applies for the cruise portion and is not refundable nor eligible for a future travel credit.  
  • From February 4, 2026, up to the day of cruising, any cancellations or “no-shows” – 100% penalty on all packages as well as the cruise.

Singles Travel International includes a fun-filled night at the exceptionally rated  Regie Ottoman (July 20-21, 2026), which allows our members to get a head start on socializing and ensures that you won’t miss the boat!

We’ll greet you at the airport with a private driver.  Upon arrival at the hotel, you’ll be greeted by our friendly, professional Concierge.  Your Singles Travel International Concierge will host a Singles-Only Meet-and-Greet and dinner on July 20.

Singles Travel International is a vacation event company that plans singles events and markets our events at our expense to create a “singles only” experience. We do not allow guests to join the group unless the reservation has been made by Singles Travel International. Our policy is firm for tours and cruises, as well as pre and post trip hotel stays. Members and friends that “show up” will not be allowed to participate.

We’ve included every transfer in your pre  cruise package! Specific details for meeting the transfer in Istanbul will be provided to you via our Final Vacation Details & Meetup Info document, 21 days prior to departure.

Transportation in Athens is not included and by that time, you’ll have connected with new friends. Our Concierge will help coordinate departure transportation and help members to share and save.

Since 1993, we have been perfecting the singles vacation experience. It is paramount that our guests meet each other right away and have opportunities to mingle every day.

From the moment you arrive at our pre Cruise hotel, our Singles Travel International Concierge is waiting to meet you at our Hospitality Desk or Welcome Event. Our first evening begins with a meet and greet and orientation.  We plan daily activities both onboard the ship as well as in each port. We dine together each evening in an open seating arrangement so that you have a chance to meet as many people as possible.

Our program for 50+ singles also includes an invitation to a private WhatsApp Group Chat where you may start meeting your fellow travelers and make new friends immediately.  In addition, we host a virtual Meet & Greet with your travel companions before you depart. You’ll receive automatic reminders via email and text for each event.  Be sure you opt in for all communications so that you don’t miss out on anything! Our vacations cater to singles in their 50s, 60s and 70s but you will often meet singles ranging anywhere from 45-75. We generally have a ratio of 60/40, women to men. As a travel club, matchmaking is not our focus. We offer an opportunity for single travelers to see the world in the company of other singles and do not guarantee ratios or ages.

Daytime Temperatures and Conditions

  • Istanbul: Around 81°F during the day with low humidity and about 12 hours of sunshine. Night temperature drops to about 64°F.

  • Troy (Bozcaada): Similar warm and dry summer conditions typical of coastal Turkey.

  • Lesbos: Approximately 86°F during the day with high humidity and about 14 hours of bright sunshine.

  • Izmir: Daytime temperatures range from about 72°F to 91°F with very little to no rain.

  • Chios, Kos, Santorini: Usually hot and dry with temperatures ranging from 86°F to the mid-90s°F and mostly sunny skies.

  • Athens: Up to 90°F during the day with high humidity and about 12 hours of bright sunshine. Evening temperatures are around 70°F.

Evening and Night Conditions

  • Evenings cool down to a comfortable range of about 64°F in Istanbul and around 68-70°F in Athens and the Greek islands.

  • Skies tend to be clear with low chances of rain, ideal for relaxing on deck or exploring ports after docking.

A passport is required for entry into Itanbul, Turkey. The USD is the official currency aboard our ship for all onboard spending regardless of the ship’s itinerary or sailing region. Your credit card will be accepted to settle your bill onboard the ship, as well as in major shops and restaurants ashore. All onboard purchases are billed with a guest check and added to your personal shipboard account. At the end of the cruise, you will receive a total bill, which can be paid with cash or charged to a credit card.

However, in Turkey and Greece, you are required to use the local currency.

  • Turkey: The official currency is the Turkish Lira (TRY). You are required to use local currency at shops, restaurants, taxis, and attractions. Many larger merchants accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), but some smaller businesses may be cash-only.

  • Greece: The official currency is the Euro (EUR). Most businesses—hotels, restaurants, stores, taxis—now legally must accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and sometimes American Express), and many have card terminals even in small towns. However, a few tiny market stalls or remote vendors may still prefer cash.

  • Best practice: Bring 2 credit cards, 1 debit card and approximately $300-$500 in cash based on your travel habits.

  • Istanbul: Around 81°F during the day with low humidity and about 12 hours of sunshine. Night temperature drops to about 64°F.

  • Troy (Bozcaada): Similar warm and dry summer conditions typical of coastal Turkey.

  • Lesbos: Approximately 86°F during the day with high humidity and about 14 hours of bright sunshine.

  • Izmir: Daytime temperatures range from about 72°F to 91°F with very little to no rain.

  • Chios, Kos, Santorini: Usually hot and dry with temperatures ranging from 86°F to the mid-90s°F and mostly sunny skies.

  • Athens: Up to 90°F during the day with high humidity and about 12 hours of bright sunshine. Evening temperatures are around 70°F.

Evening and Night Conditions

  • Evenings cool down to a comfortable range of about 64°F in Istanbul and around 68-70°F in Athens and the Greek islands.

  • Skies tend to be clear with low chances of rain, ideal for relaxing on deck or exploring ports after docking.

This Mediterranean summer weather provides hot and sunny days with pleasant, mild evenings aboard the cruise and at the port stops.

A passport is required for entry into Itanbul, Turkey. Be sure to confirm that your passport is current and will be valid at least six months after your return date. If you do not have one or need a new one, contact the State Department Passport Office in your area immediately or visit their website.

The USD is the official currency aboard our ship for all onboard spending regardless of the ship’s itinerary or sailing region. Your credit card will be accepted to settle your bill onboard the ship, as well as in major shops and restaurants ashore. All onboard purchases are billed with a guest check and added to your personal shipboard account. At the end of the cruise, you will receive a total bill, which can be paid with cash or charged to a credit card.

However, in Turkey and Greece, you are required to use the local currency.

  • Turkey: The official currency is the Turkish Lira (TRY). You are required to use local currency at shops, restaurants, taxis, and attractions. Many larger merchants accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), but some smaller businesses may be cash-only.

  • Greece: The official currency is the Euro (EUR). Most businesses—hotels, restaurants, stores, taxis—now legally must accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and sometimes American Express), and many have card terminals even in small towns. However, a few tiny market stalls or remote vendors may still prefer cash.

  • Best practice: Bring 2 credit cards, 1 debit card and approximately $300-$500 in cash based on your travel habits.

The USD is the official currency aboard our ship for all onboard spending regardless of the ship’s itinerary or sailing region. Your credit card will be accepted to settle your bill onboard the ship, as well as in major shops and restaurants ashore. All onboard purchases are billed with a guest check and added to your personal shipboard account. At the end of the cruise, you will receive a total bill, which can be paid with cash or charged to a credit card.

However, in Turkey and Greece, you are required to use the local currency.

  • Turkey: The official currency is the Turkish Lira (TRY). You are required to use local currency at shops, restaurants, taxis, and attractions. Many larger merchants accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), but some smaller businesses may be cash-only.

  • Greece: The official currency is the Euro (EUR). Most businesses—hotels, restaurants, stores, taxis—now legally must accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and sometimes American Express), and many have card terminals even in small towns. However, a few tiny market stalls or remote vendors may still prefer cash.

  • Best practice: Bring 2 credit cards, 1 debit card and approximately $300-$500 in cash based on your travel habits.

Exchange rates fluctuate often. You may find the current exchange rates in the financial sections of newspapers and on the Internet. You may also find a number of websites by typing “foreign exchange rates” in your search engine. We recommend www.xe.com

Some credit card companies may charge small international transaction fees, so it’s best to check with your provider before leaving home.

All countries you will visit have laws against the purchase and export of certain items, including antiquities, national cultural property and certain animal products, especially endangered species (ivory, rhino horn, tortoise shell, coral, feathers, etc.). Kick back on the beaches of Kefalos or soak in the thermal waters of Thermae Beach. From the moment you arrive at our pre Cruise hotel, our Singles Travel International Concierge is waiting to meet you at our Hospitality Desk or Welcome Event. Our first evening begins with a meet and greet and orientation.  We plan daily activities both onboard the ship as well as in each port. We dine together each evening in an open seating arrangement so that you have a chance to meet as many people as possible.

Our program for 50+ singles also includes an invitation to a private WhatsApp Group Chat where you may start meeting your fellow travelers and make new friends immediately.  In addition, we host a virtual Meet & Greet with your travel companions before you depart. Our vacations cater to singles in their 50s, 60s and 70s but you will often meet singles ranging anywhere from 45-75. We generally have a ratio of 60/40, women to men. Daytime Temperatures and Conditions

  • Istanbul: Around 81°F during the day with low humidity and about 12 hours of sunshine. Night temperature drops to about 64°F.

  • Troy (Bozcaada): Similar warm and dry summer conditions typical of coastal Turkey.

  • Lesbos: Approximately 86°F during the day with high humidity and about 14 hours of bright sunshine.

  • Izmir: Daytime temperatures range from about 72°F to 91°F with very little to no rain.

  • Chios, Kos, Santorini: Usually hot and dry with temperatures ranging from 86°F to the mid-90s°F and mostly sunny skies.

  • Athens: Up to 90°F during the day with high humidity and about 12 hours of bright sunshine. Evening temperatures are around 70°F.

Evening and Night Conditions

The USD is the official currency aboard our ship for all onboard spending regardless of the ship’s itinerary or sailing region. Your credit card will be accepted to settle your bill onboard the ship, as well as in major shops and restaurants ashore. All onboard purchases are billed with a guest check and added to your personal shipboard account. At the end of the cruise, you will receive a total bill, which can be paid with cash or charged to a credit card.

However, in Turkey and Greece, you are required to use the local currency.

  • Turkey: The official currency is the Turkish Lira (TRY). You are required to use local currency at shops, restaurants, taxis, and attractions. Many larger merchants accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), but some smaller businesses may be cash-only.

  • Greece: The official currency is the Euro (EUR). Most businesses—hotels, restaurants, stores, taxis—now legally must accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and sometimes American Express), and many have card terminals even in small towns. However, a few tiny market stalls or remote vendors may still prefer cash.

  • Best practice: Bring 2 credit cards, 1 debit card and approximately $300-$500 in cash based on your travel habits.
