In order to get the best value with Celebrity Cruises, we chose package rates that bear a $100 penalty imposed by Celebrity Cruises in the event of cancellation  before final payment. Our members save over $1,000 on their solo cabin cruise cost with this option.

• After deposit and at any time of cancellation prior to May 21, 2025, your deposit amount of $1000 is non refundable, and will only incur the $100 fee imposed by Celebrity Cruises. The balance of your deposit will be issued as a Future Trip Credit that may be used toward any future Celebrity Cruises and Singles Travel International vacation within 1 year of cancellation, for travel at any time. No refund on any unused portions of the trip.
• *After May 21, 2025, up to the day of cruising, any cancellations or “no-shows” – 100% penalty.

Air packages and air tickets are subject to cancellation policies imposed by the airlines.

When the cruise is canceled by the cruise line, you will generally be offered a full refund or the option to move your reservation to another date without penalty, often with a perk. Singles Travel International includes a fun-filled night in Vancouver (September 18-19, 2025), which allows our members to get a head start on socializing and ensures that you won’t miss the boat!

Singles Travel International is a vacation event company that plans singles events and markets our events at our expense to create a “singles only” experience. We do not allow guests to join the group unless the reservation has been made by Singles Travel International. Our policy is firm for tours and cruises, as well as pre and post trip hotel stays. Members and friends that “show up” will not be allowed to participate.

In order to accommodate singles from all over the world, our tours and cruises are priced as land/cruise only. Therefore, airfare is additional. Singles Travel International is a licensed ticketing agency and oftentimes has low negotiated fares.

Vancouver, Canada is serviced by the Vancouver International Airport (YVR). From there, you have a couple of transfer options:

You have several transportation options to travel between Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and the Azur Hotel in Vancouver:

1. Canada Line SkyTrain

• Description: The Canada Line is a rapid transit service that connects YVR to downtown Vancouver.
• Duration: Approximately 24 minutes.
• Cost: Around C$ 9.00 for a one-way ticket.
• Details: Board the Canada Line at YVR-Airport station towards Waterfront. Alight at Waterfront station, then walk about 7 minutes (approximately 500 meters) to reach the Azur Hotel.

2. Taxi

• Description: Taxis are readily available at the airport.
• Duration: Approximately 20 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
• Cost: Estimated fare is between C$ 30 to C$ 40, including airport surcharges.
• Details: You can find taxis at designated taxi stands outside the terminal.

3. Ride-Sharing Services

• Description: Services like Uber and Lyft operate at YVR.
• Duration: Similar to taxi rides, around 20 to 30 minutes.
• Cost: Typically comparable to taxi fares, but check the app for real-time pricing. The average price for an Uber trip from YVR to Vancouver is approximately $20USD but may be higher.

You are responsible for airfare, transfers in Vancouver and Honolulu, shore excursions, casino gambling and shopping. Cabin incidentals such as laundry, phone calls are at an additional cost and all items will appear on your final billing statement at the end of the cruise.

Please contact your preferred carrier directly to make your reservation. If Singles Travel International issues a promotional economy fare, granting of frequent flyer credit is entirely at the airline’s discretion. If the flights are eligible, to ensure you earn frequent flyer credit from the airline, give your frequent flyer account number when you check in for your flights. In addition, save your boarding passes and the passenger receipt from your airline ticket. You may need to submit these to the airline (not to Singles Travel International) to claim any credit allowed.

Of course not. You will be pleased to find out that nearly 90% of our guests on every cruise sign up and have never met anyone before joining the group. All meals are served either buffet style in a restaurant located on an open deck such as the pool deck or full service in the main dining room at set times referred to as early and late (or first and second) seating. Singles Travel International hosts the Breakfast Club each morning in one of the 2 locations, which are determined via your Singles Travel International Concierge once onboard and advised to you each day via our weekly program.

We reserve late (second) seating for the entire group for dinner. Late (second) dining is generally served at 8:00 p.m. and varies by cruise line. If you desire to dine at early (first) seating, please let our reservation specialist know at the time of booking. Note that on most cruises, the majority of our guests choose late (second) seating and by selecting early (first) seating, you may be dining with a smaller group of our guests or perhaps none at all. All dining requests are confirmed once onboard, not in advance and are at the discretion of the cruise line.

In addition, there are generally several a la carte and themed restaurants with and without a fee. Singles Travel International reserves tables of 8 for every night. You may sign up for those options and, therefore, enjoy these restaurants in the company of other singles once onboard the ship.

In addition to included dinners in the 4 Complimentary restaurants each evening, we’ll have several specialty dining opportunities and experiences onboard the Edge for an additional fee.

Step 1: Purchase a Classic Specialty Dining Package from your My Celebrity Cruise Portal for three meals ($129) and dine at three different specialty restaurants (e.g., Le Grand Bistro, Fine Cut Steakhouse, Le Petit Chef, Raw on Five, Magic Carpet, Eden Restaurant and Rooftop Garden Grill) during our cruise. Additional Packages: Other options may include packages for 4 or 5 meals, with prices ranging from $45 to $75 per person (subject to change at any time), plus gratuities. Specific surcharges may apply for certain restaurants and tasting menus.

Step 2: In Vancouver, sign up for specialty dinners reservations when checking in with your Singles Travel International Concierge at our Welcome Event in the pre cruise hotel. Signing up early ensures that you have the best chance to enjoy these restaurants in the company of other singles, once onboard the ship. The actual date and time will be confirmed by your Concierge once onboard.

Note: Reservations are not associated with any payment. Once onboard, you will need to pay using your Specialty Dining Package or pay as you go according to the cruise line’s terms.

Singles Travel International VIP reservations are generally between 5:00-7:00 p.m. Our Singles Travel International Weekly Program will present a Singles Only Dining & Show Schedule so that you are informed of our singles-only activities. On occasion, a given restaurant may be fully booked, and Singles Travel International does not guarantee reservations. Prices listed on our site are subject to change by the cruise line at any time.

Yes, there are hairdryers in each cabin. Electrical current is 110, which is the US standard. If sharing a cabin, we recommend bringing along a power strip so that you both may recharge phones, cameras and add additional items such as a curling iron.

There is no baggage limit onboard ship.

Currently, most international airlines will allow you to check up to two bags weighing up to 50 pounds for an additional price. In addition you may carry-on one bag plus a personal item such as a purse or briefcase. Please check with your air carrier for up-to-the-minute regulations and fees for checked baggage.

Cruising aboard Celebrity is not too dressy, not too casual. We call it “resort casual”; you’ll call it being on holiday. When you’re ready for dinner, it’s collared shirts and pants or nice jeans for men. Slacks or jeans, dresses, skirts and tops are perfect for women. If you want to dress up and add a little glamour when you dine out, go for it. Singles Travel International members generally add a little class to any venue!

Swimwear, T-shirts and shorts are not allowed in the restaurants after 5:30 pm. An exception will be made with respect to shorts in the buffet and outdoor restaurants. Presentable jeans may be worn in restaurants in the evenings with the exception of a designated “dress up” restaurant. Daytime wear is casual and comfortable for touring/ shopping/ swimming.

Evenings aboard the ship are sometimes cool due to the air conditioning, so a coverup is essential if you tend to get cold easily.

Packing Tips: Take only what you need; don’t over pack. Save room for souvenirs and purchases. Pack flat and full to avoid wrinkling. Bring wardrobe basics; mix and match around one or two colors. Don’t pack anything valuable, fragile or perishable. Label your luggage with an outside tag, and place an identification card inside each suitcase.

Essential Items: We highly recommend that you bring the following items.

– A happy-go-lucky attitude
– Chill wear: bathing suits, yoga pants and comfy daytime attire
– A good, comfortable pair of broken-in walking shoes.
– A pair of shoes for restaurants (loafers, sandals, etc).
– Slacks, shorts and tops
– Collapsible umbrella (which can double as a sunshade parasol) and/or lightweight raingear.
– Ladies will want to bring a nicer warm wrap, and gentlemen a nicer jacket, for evening wear.
– Sunglasses, sun block, sun hat or visor.
– Toiletries: all your daily essentials.
– Prescription medications: sufficient supply for the entire trip plus legible written prescription in case of loss. Keep medications in their original, labeled container. Always pack your medications in your carry-on bag!
– Eyeglasses, contacts, contact lens solution. You may want to bring along a written prescription for your eyewear in case of loss.
– Over the counter medications: cold remedy, aspirin/pain reliever, antacid/stomach upset remedy, Band-Aids, money or other anti-bacterial medication.
– Travel alarm clock with illuminated face, especially for guests in an inside cabin.
– Travel journal/notepad and reading material.
– Small, basic sewing kit with a few extra buttons. Remember to pack scissors in your checked bag!
– Photography Equipment
– Power strip to charge more than one item at a time. Only 1 US outlet in your cabin.
– Alternate outlet on the ship and in our hotel in Sydney is different than our US outlets, so bring an adapter/converter.

Travel Insurance is not mandatory, but, based on our experience, we highly recommend it. In addition to direct access immediately upon completing your purchase, you will receive a quote from Travel Guard regarding travel insurance after reserving your vacation.

When selecting a travel insurance policy, we recommend that at a minimum you are covered for medical expenses including emergency evacuation and repatriation. We also strongly recommend that the policy cover personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects.

The Canadian Dollar (CAD$) is the official currency in Vancouver.  Afterward, it’s US dollars for the remainder of your vacation.

Onboard the ship, your credit card will be accepted to settle your bill onboard the ship, as well as in major shops and restaurants ashore. All onboard purchases are billed with a guest check and added to your personal shipboard account. At the end of the cruise, you will receive a total bill, which can be paid with cash or charged to a credit card. If you are sharing with another guest, no worries. You will each receive a separate statement which may be reviewed at any time on your interactive TV in the cabin.

Some credit card companies may charge small international transaction fees, so it’s best to check with your provider before leaving home for your Canadian charges.

All countries you will visit have laws against the purchase and export of certain items, including antiquities, national cultural property and certain animal products, especially endangered species (ivory, rhino horn, tortoise shell, coral, feathers, etc.). Additionally, the United States has laws prohibiting the import of certain items, which include many of the same things. You face having your purchase confiscated and/or heavy fines for exporting or importing prohibited items.

On return to the U.S., your baggage is subject to search by U.S. Customs. Currently, you are permitted to bring back $800 of goods duty free. Persons aged 21 or over may also bring in one liter of liquor and one carton of cigarettes. If you plan to purchase a lot of souvenirs or expensive items, it is important to retain all purchase receipts. However, please note that U.S. Customs may not accept a receipt as true cost if it seems unusually low for the estimated value of the item.
