PASSPORT MANDATORY A passport is required for US citizens. Be sure to confirm that your passport is current and will be valid at least six months after your return date. If you do not have one or need a new one, contact the State Department Passport Office in your area immediately, or visit their website.

Non US Citizens are responsible for verifying their own required documentation for this tour.

The trip begins with one night in a Ft. Lauderdale hotel on January 31, 2025, and the cruise ends at the port of Ft. Lauderdale on February 9, 2025. Therefore the trip is 9 nights/10 days.

No. All travelers are welcome to sail regardless of vaccination status and will no longer be required to provide proof of pre-departure testing to board a Celebrity cruise ship.

As destinations around the globe adapt their health and safety protocols, Celebrity continually evaluates and updates their requirements as new information becomes available.

The CDC (Centers for Disease Control) recommends updating all routine booster shots for travel almost anywhere. Please schedule a physical check-up, before your trip, to discuss the type of trip in which you are participating with your physician.

You and your physician may access much more, very detailed health information for travelers (including tips on staying healthy while traveling) on the CDC website. Click their “Traveler’s Health” link or call toll-free 24-hours at 1-800-CDC-INFO (800-232-4636).

A deposit is due at time of reservation, and final payment is due on October 7, 2024.

If you make a reservation after October 7, 2024, full payment will be automatically charged at time of reservation and penalties will apply.

Contact our team at service@singlestravelintl.com and request the Pay-By-Check discount. Your final payment balance will be recalculated deducting the Pay-By-Check discount. Then be sure to mail your check with the revised balance total to our office so that it arrives by October 7, 2024, in order to secure your reservation and price.  Late payments will not be accepted.

Yes. All cancellations must be made in writing to Singles Travel International (service@singlestravelintl.com) and are subject to per person penalties. We strongly recommend travel insurance to protect your investment.

In order to get the best value with Celebrity, we chose package rates that bear a penalty in the event of cancellation at any time.  Celebrity terms are as follows: For reservations made prior to December 15, 2023, a $250 penalty applies and any additional funds deposited will be split into a partial future cruise credit with Celebrity and a partial refund to your credit card.

For reservations made after December 15, 2023 the following terms apply.

*After deposit and at any time of cancellation prior to September 4, 2024, your deposit amount of $1000 is non refundable.

Air packages and air tickets are subject to cancellation policies imposed by the airlines.

When the cruise is cancelled by the cruise line, you will generally be offered a full refund or the option to move your reservation to another date without penalty, often with a perk. All changes are subject to current terms and conditions at the time of cancellation. Your team at Singles Travel International will advocate for you in all cases.

Singles Travel International includes a fun-filled night in a Ft. Lauderdale hotel (Jan. 31-Feb. 1, 2025), which allows our members to get a head start on socializing and ensures that you won’t miss the boat!

Singles Travel International is a vacation event company that plans singles events and markets our events at our expense to create a “singles only” experience. We do not allow guests to join the group unless the reservation has been made by Singles Travel International. Our policy is firm for tours and cruises, as well as pre and post trip hotel stays. Members and friends that “show up” will not be allowed to participate.

In order to accommodate singles from all over the world, our tours and cruises are priced as land/cruise only. Therefore, airfare is additional. Singles Travel International is a licensed ticketing agency and oftentimes has low negotiated fares.

Please schedule your flight arrive at the Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) by 4:00 pm on January 31, 2025, and transfer to our hotel so you have time to participate in the fun!

If you’d like a transfer to the Miami airport (MIA) at the end of the cruise from the ship, your Tour Concierge will be able to help you book one directly with the cruise line once you’re on board.

Ft. Lauderdale is serviced by the Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). From there, you have a couple of transfer options:

Taxi: Taxis are readily available outside of all terminals at the airport and will be approximately $17-$25.

The Tri-Rail Train connects the airport to downtown Ft. Lauderdale and costs approxiately $4 each way.

Ride-Sharing apps: The designated pick-up areas for Ride Sharing is available only on the lower (arrivals) level of FLL. Look for the curbside signage for Ride-Sharing with a cell phone image. These pick-up locations are positioned between terminals 1 & 2 and 3 & 4

Please contact your preferred carrier directly to make your reservation. If Singles Travel International issues a promotional economy fare, granting of frequent flyer credit is entirely at the airline’s discretion. If the flights are eligible, to ensure you earn frequent flyer credit from the airline, give your frequent flyer account number when you check in for your flights. In addition, save your boarding passes and the passenger receipt from your airline ticket. You may need to submit these to the airline (not to Singles Travel International) to claim any credit allowed.

Your Singles Travel International Concierge will also offer Independent Meetups early morning in each port so that members without an excursion may connect and spend time exploring together.

All meals are served either buffet style in a restaurant located on an open deck such as the pool deck or full service in the main dining room at set times referred to as early and late (or first and second) seating. Singles Travel International hosts the Breakfast Club each morning in one of the 2 locations, which are determined via your Singles Travel International Concierge once onboard and advised to you each day via our weekly program.

We reserve late (second) seating for the entire group for dinner. Late (second) dining is generally served at 8:00 p.m. and varies by cruise line. If you desire to dine at early (first) seating, please let our reservation specialist know at the time of booking. Note that on most cruises, the majority of our guests choose late (second) seating and by selecting early (first) seating, you may be dining with a smaller group of our guests or perhaps none at all. All dining requests are confirmed once onboard, not in advance and are at the discretion of the cruise line.

In addition, there are generally several a la carte and themed restaurants with and without a fee. Singles Travel International reserves tables of 8 for every night. You may sign up for those options and, therefore, enjoy these restaurants in the company of other singles once onboard the ship.

Yes, there are hairdryers in each cabin. Electrical current is 110, which is the US standard. If sharing a cabin, we recommend bringing along a power strip so that you both may recharge phones, cameras and add additional items such as a curling iron.

A valid passport is required for travel to the Caribbean islands we’ll be visiting. Be sure to confirm that your passport is current and will be valid at least six months after your return date. If you do not have one or need a new one, contact the State Department Passport Office in your area immediately or visit their website.

We recommend that you also make copies of your passport, visa, driver’s license, photo identification card and/or birth certificate in case of loss, and carry them with you on your trip separate from your original documents.

There is no baggage limit onboard ship.

Currently, most international airlines will allow you to check up to two bags weighing up to 50 pounds for an additional price. In addition you may carry-on one bag plus a personal item such as a purse or briefcase. Please check with your air carrier for up-to-the-minute regulations and fees for checked baggage.

Cruising aboard Celebrity is not too dressy, not too casual. We call it “resort casual”; you’ll call it being on holiday. When you’re ready for dinner, it’s collared shirts and pants or nice jeans for men. Slacks or jeans, dresses, skirts and tops are perfect for women. If you want to dress up and add a little glamour when you dine out, go for it. Singles Travel International members generally add a little class to any venue!

Swimwear, T-shirts and shorts are not allowed in the restaurants after 5:30 pm. An exception will be made with respect to shorts in the buffet and outdoor restaurants. Presentable jeans may be worn in restaurants in the evenings with the exception of a designated “dress up” restaurant. Daytime wear is casual and comfortable for touring/ shopping/ swimming.

Our Concierge Team will create 1 theme night, and costumes are recommended, although optional. More information about the theme will be disclosed closer to departure via our chat and direct emails from our Concierge Team.

Evenings aboard the ship are sometimes cool due to the air conditioning, so a light jacket or shawl is essential if you tend to get cold easily.

Packing Tips: Take only what you need; don’t over pack. Save room for souvenirs and purchases. Pack flat and full to avoid wrinkling. Bring wardrobe basics; mix and match around one or two colors. Don’t pack anything valuable, fragile or perishable. Label your luggage with an outside tag, and place an identification card inside each suitcase.

Essential Items: We highly recommend that you bring the following items.

– A happy-go-lucky attitude
– A good, comfortable pair of broken-in walking shoes.
– A pair of shoes for restaurants (loafers, sandals, etc).
– Slacks, shorts and tops and keep dressing in layers in mind
– Collapsible umbrella (which can double as a sunshade parasol) and/or lightweight raingear.
– Ladies will want to bring a nicer warm wrap, and gentlemen a nicer jacket, for evening wear.
– Sunglasses, sun block, sun hat or visor.
– Toiletries: all your daily essentials.
– Prescription medications: sufficient supply for the entire trip plus legible written prescription in case of loss. Keep medications in their original, labeled container. Always pack your medications in your carry-on bag!
– Eyeglasses, contacts, contact lens solution. You may want to bring along a written prescription for your eyewear in case of loss.
– Over the counter medications: cold remedy, aspirin/pain reliever, antacid/stomach upset remedy, Band-Aids, money or other anti-bacterial medication.
– Travel alarm clock with illuminated face, especially for guests in an inside cabin.
– Travel journal/notepad and reading material.
– Small, basic sewing kit with a few extra buttons. Remember to pack scissors in your checked bag!
– Photography Equipment
– Power strip to charge more than one item at a time. Only 1 US outlet in your cabin.
– Alternate outlet on the ship and in our hotel in Sydney is different than our US outlets, so bring an adapter/converter.

When selecting a travel insurance policy, we recommend that at a minimum you are covered for medical expenses including emergency evacuation and repatriation. We also strongly recommend that the policy cover personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects.

Each destination we’ll visit has its own currency; however the US dollar is widely accepted, so there’s no need to exchange your money. Also, credit cards are widely accepted.

Onboard the ship, your credit card will be accepted to settle your bill onboard the ship, as well as in major shops and restaurants ashore. All onboard purchases are billed with a guest check and added to your personal shipboard account. At the end of the cruise, you will receive a total bill, which can be paid with cash or charged to a credit card. If you are sharing with another guest, no worries. You will each receive a separate statement which may be reviewed at any time on your interactive TV in the cabin.

Some credit card companies may charge small international transaction fees, so it’s best to check with your provider before leaving home.

All countries you will visit have laws against the purchase and export of certain items, including antiquities, national cultural property and certain animal products, especially endangered species (ivory, rhino horn, tortoise shell, coral, feathers, etc.). Additionally, the United States has laws prohibiting the import of certain items, which include many of the same things. You face having your purchase confiscated and/or heavy fines for exporting or importing prohibited items.

On return to the U.S., your baggage is subject to search by U.S. Customs. Currently, you are permitted to bring back $800 of goods duty free. Persons aged 21 or over may also bring in one liter of liquor and one carton of cigarettes. If you plan to purchase a lot of souvenirs or expensive items, it is important to retain all purchase receipts. However, please note that U.S. Customs may not accept a receipt as true cost if it seems unusually low for the estimated value of the item.
