The Chicago Trip was the best. We were busy with fun stuff to do every moment. The highlight for most of us was the Architectural Boat Tour. It was a fascinating journey along the Chicago River viewing the myriad of skyscrapers and learning from the docent about the different architectural styles and the history of the buildings and the communities we were passing by.
The farewell dinner at Giordano’s was also a treat. I finally had the chance to taste Chicago Deep-Dish pizza. The food and drinks were plentiful and our concierges made sure that everyone was taken care of which was quite a feat. It is my understanding that most people in Chicago wait an hour or more for a Giordano’s pizza. We were served as soon as we were seated.
