At long last, we’ve arrived in Paradise!

Our luxurious vacation for singles only began in Tahiti with an unforgettable moment: an invitation from one of our members to gather at her overwater bungalow.  Within minutes, the group was snorkeling, laughing, and sharing stories as if they’d known one another for years. That spontaneous hangout set the tone for the entire journey.

Making ourselves at home aboard the Paul Gauguin

The m/s Paul Gauguin served as the ideal home base for this luxury journey — a small South Pacific vessel designed to reach intimate ports that larger ships simply can’t access. With only a maximum of 330 guests and one of the highest crew‑to‑guest ratios in luxury cruising, the atmosphere onboard felt warm, relaxed, and wonderfully personal. Most of our members opted for staterooms with private balconies, and the ship’s recent refurbishment gives every space a bright, modern, and elegantly island‑inspired feel.

Guests enjoyed three exceptional dining venues, a full spa, and the unique cultural immersion provided by our Tahitian hosts, Les Gauguins and Les Gauguines. They brought Polynesian music, dance, and storytelling to life throughout the voyage. The ship’s floating marina added an extra layer of adventure, offering kayaking and paddleboarding when conditions allowed. Across the islands – whether drifting through luminous lagoons, exploring cultural sites, or simply watching the sun melt into the sea – our members embraced every moment. The group embraced every opportunity to explore, whether diving deep or floating lazily on the surface. Snorkeling quickly became a shared passion, with excited retellings of eels, rays, and schools of neon‑bright fish. Divers returned each day with stories of underwater cathedrals and coral gardens.

Lagoon cruises offered time to unwind, sip something cold, and simply enjoy being together. Pearl farm visits and cultural tours added context to the islands. They also revealed the beauty surrounding them.

No matter the activity, one theme stood out: this group showed up for one another. They cheered each other on, shared sunscreen and snacks, and made every moment feel bigger because they experienced it together.
