Circa Hotel is the newest hotel at the Fremont Experience and it is a beautiful with three bars – and we visited them all! We met at Mega Bar – the longest bar in Las Vegas. No less than 5 bartenders flex their flair skills as they juggled glasses, shook martinis, and twirled bottles. Later that weekend, we visited the rooftop bar, Legacy. Atop the 60th floor, we had magnificent views of Las Vegas! We were able to see both the glitzy lights of the Strip and the sun setting over the surrounding mountains.

Our View of the Strip
Our first day in Las Vegas took us to the famous Las Vegas Strip. Taking the double decker bus, we saw all of Las Vegas Boulevard from Fremont Street to Tropicana. We saw some of the older hotels of Vegas to the brand new ones built just these past few years. Some people went to see the Blue Man Group while others marveled at the Las Vegas architecture. Later in the evening, a group of new friends banded together and went to see a Cirque du Soleil show. Beatles’ Love was a great hit as every seat (even those way up high) offered a spectacular view of acrobats jumping, leaping, and performing gravity-defying stunts all to the wonderful music of the Beatles.

Having Fun on Fremont Street
Later that night, we met for our Welcome Dinner at Victory Burger inside the Circa Hotel. After filling our bellies with humongous burgers and tasty sides, a few of us ventured out to the Fremont Experience. Even though New Year’s Eve was until the following night, there is always a party on Fremont Street. We danced under the giant, lighted canopy and danced to the live bands.

The next day took us to Area 15 an immersive art collection. We immersed ourselves in psychedelic art, Van Gogh’s impressionism, and NASA’s space photos. Some decided to see the view from a bar 130 feet in the air.

Happy New Year!!!
For New Year’s Eve, Singles Travel International reserved a corner suite on the 51st floor of the Circa Hotel. We had a spectacular view of the fireworks over Las Vegas. With firework shows over 8 hotels, we had an amazing display of fireworks and drones. Right across the street from our hotel, the Plaza had drones synchronized to music, lights, and positions to give us images of “2023,” clinking champagne glasses, and the ace of spades! It was fun watching the news coverage of the fireworks on the tv and then turning our heads to see the fireworks live – all from our warm, gorgeous hotel suite!

The next day brought us back to the Strip. We marveled at the giant Chandelier at the Cosmopolitan, strolled through the cobblestone of the Paris Hotel, and watched water dance at the Bellagio.
